Human Soundcheck’s Guide to Fatigue & Low Energy

You’re Tired. You’ve Tried Things. And You Still Don’t Know Why.

You don't want to spend another year planning your life around how tired you feel.

When nothing you've tried has made enough of a difference, it is time to change your perspective.

This guide helps you understand what your energy depends on, what can interfere with it, and how those pieces work together—so the things you do try next have purpose and a chance of making a difference.

The information isn't the hard part. Making sense of it is.

There’s no shortage of information about fatigue online, and much of it is available for free.  What you don't get from another search, article, or video is the perspective behind this guide: years of one-on-one client care and coaching, combined with training and study in nutrition, herbalism, physiology, stress, and whole-person health.

That experience has shaped how the information is filtered, how the science is connected, and how it's organized to help you better understand what may be happening in your body and what you can actually do with what you learn.

Does any of this sound familiar?
  • You’re getting through the day, but you’re running on fumes by the time it’s over.
  • You've tried getting more sleep, taking better care of yourself, or making changes you thought would help, but you’re still tired.
  • You can push through when you have to, but you’re tired of having to.
  • And maybe the most frustrating part is that you still don’t know what you’re missing.

When fatigue sticks around, it can be tempting to look for the one thing that explains it. But energy is influenced by a lot of different things, and those factors can overlap and affect one another.

Inside the Guide:

There’s no shortage of information about fatigue online. That’s part of the problem.

You can spend hours searching for answers and come away with dozens of possible explanations, conflicting advice, and an even longer list of things to try, without being any closer to understanding what may actually be affecting your energy.

This guide does that work for you. It brings together the physical, nutritional, metabolic, mental, and lifestyle factors that can influence energy, explains the science behind them in plain language, and shows you how those pieces can interact.

Instead of another list of reasons you might be tired, you get a way to look at the bigger picture, recognize what may deserve your attention, understand why some of the things you've already tried may not have made the difference you expected, and decide what to do next.

Inside, you'll explore things like:

  • Why getting enough nutrients is about more than what you eat or which supplements you take, including what can affect the body's ability to digest, absorb, and use them

  • How blood sugar, digestion, hormones, stress, sleep, activity, and nutrient status can influence energy and one another

  • How the demands placed on the body can gradually use more resources than it has an opportunity to replace

  • Why someone can eat well, take supplements, stay active, and do many of the “right” things and still feel exhausted

  • What you can begin looking at differently, along with practical ways to use what you've learned in your own day-to-day life

Also included: The separate Companion Resource PDF

You'll also receive a separate PDF with practical tools and links to trusted resources, recommended reading, and my current supplement recommendations to help you put what you're learning into practice.

Understand

Look at fatigue as a whole rather than a collection of separate issues, so you can see connections and patterns that are easy to miss when each piece is considered on its own.

Recognize

Recognize your own experience in places you may not have expected, including things you may never have thought to connect with fatigue, and see your situation from a different perspective.

Support

Put what you’re learning into practice with practical approaches grounded in professional training and real-world client experience. You’ll come away with specific things to try, questions to consider, and a clearer sense of where to focus your attention.

Move Forward

The Companion Resource helps you go further, with space to explore what stood out to you, what you may want to look into more closely, and what else may be worth trying as you continue working toward feeling better.

Why This Guide Is Different

This guide wasn’t created from research alone. The information is grounded in professional education and training, but it has also been shaped by years of working one-on-one with clients and seeing how differently people can respond, even when their circumstances seem similar.

That matters because fatigue doesn’t always follow a neat formula. What looks important on paper isn’t necessarily what deserves the most attention for every person.

The practical approaches throughout the guide have also been shaped by years of working directly with clients, seeing which questions are worth asking, which connections are easy to overlook, and what can make the information more useful in practice.

“Energy isn’t just what gets you through the day. It’s what allows you to fully engage with the people and experiences that matter most.”

Hi, I'm Jamie

I created Human Soundcheck because I believe people deserve to better understand how the body works and the many factors that influence how they feel. With greater clarity about what the body needs, how it responds, and how everyday choices add up over time, it becomes easier to recognize where things may need to change and take a more active role in your own health.

My work in holistic health has been shaped by years of formal education, professional training, hands-on practice, research, and independent study. I'm a Certified Nutritionist Counselor, Certified Clinical Master Herbalist, Certified B.E.S.T. Practitioner, and Certified Coach, and I continue to advance my formal education and training in holistic health.

Beyond my formal education and certifications, I've spent hundreds of hours in seminars and professional trainings and years studying nutrition, stress, energy, and whole-person health.

Working directly with clients in my practice has added another layer that books and classrooms can't provide: seeing how differently people can respond to similar circumstances and how often physical, nutritional, mental, emotional, and lifestyle factors overlap.

My work has also been published in The Natural Living Journal, and I continue to develop guides, courses, and other educational resources designed to make complex health concepts practical, approachable, and easier to understand.

That's the perspective I bring to this guide. My goal isn't to give you another generic list of things you “should” be doing. It's to help you better understand what's happening in the body, recognize the factors that may be affecting how you feel, and make more informed decisions about how you support your health.

Imagine having enough energy left to actually enjoy your life, not just keep up with it. To be more present, do more of what you enjoy, and still have something left for yourself at the end of the day.

You’ve got a life to live. Feeling exhausted all the time shouldn’t have to be the way you live it.

There are things you want to do, people you want to spend time with, and parts of yourself you’d probably like to see a little more often. Feeling better means having more of yourself available for all of it.
